The City of Waverly will be seal coating several residential roads beginning the week of July 13, weather permitting. The process is expected to take approximately 2 weeks to complete. Vehicles and trailers will not be allowed to park on the street during this time. Horton Road will need to be double seal coated, so work there will begin today. That may require one lane of traffic until the project is complete. Seal coating involves the placement of oil and then rock chips on the street. After the rock chips have been placed over the oil, the street can be immediately driven on, but you are asked to go slowly and avoid any quick stops or starts.
