A Selma, Alabama man has been sentenced after beating a man in Charles City in May, according to KIMT. 34 year old Laron Martin got into an argument with the victim on May 6th. As the victim walked away, Martin hit him in the side of the head, knocking him unconscious. Martin then picked the victim up and slammed him face-first into the ground. The victim suffered a concussion and a facial fracture. Martin was sentenced to three years of supervised probation after pleading guilty to Assault Causing Serious Injury.
