Many will gather Monday to celebrate the life of Waverly’s own Shelly Steere. Thousands changed their Facebook statuses to a simple bike emoji over the weekend to honor the 53-year-old who died on Thursday. Shelly was a common sight in town riding his bicycle. Services will be at 11:30 Monday at Crosspoint Church in Waverly.
