An Oelwein man originally convicted of child sex crimes has died in prison, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 65 year old Anthony Todd was convicted of Lascivious Acts with a Child, Possession of a Depiction of a Minor in a Sex Act and Invasion of Privacy. Todd fondled a minor in 2022 and 2023 and had photos of the minor in different stages of undress on his phone. He had been granted probation but was sentenced to prison time in February after arrests for Operating While Intoxicated, Public Intoxication, and Sex Offender Registry Violations. It is unclear how he died.
