Oelwein Police are investigating a shooting at McDonald’s on Friday night, according to KWWL. Police were called to the McDonald’s parking lot just after 9:00 p.m. on a report of gunfire. Their investigation found that two parties had met in the parking lot to complete the sale of property. An argument erupted and as one party attempted to leave the parking lot in a UTV, an armed suspect fired at least one shot at the UTV. The suspect then fled on foot and has not yet been apprehended. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oelwein Police Department.
