Waterloo police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex Thursday, according to KWWL. The complex is the former Emerson School, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. One person involved in the shooting was taken to a hospital but it is unclear what condition they are in. Police served search warrants on a couple of apartments looking for evidence. No arrests have been made related to the shooting however one person was arrested on an unrelated warrant. Police say the shooting was not random and they continue to investigate.
