The demolition of the Slemmons Run Trail Bridge in Waverly is scheduled to begin Tuesday. That portion of the Rolling Prairie Trail will be closed to the public. Construction of the new trail bridge will begin after the demolition and clean-up is complete. Slemmons Run Bridge is located just under a mile west of Garden Avenue. There will be signs noting the closure along the trail. There will be no detour.
