Those traveling from Waterloo to Waverly Thursday, September 12th will need to take a slight detour in the middle of the day. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. the ramp that takes Highway 218 northbound near the Waterloo Airport will be closed so that repairs can be made to the end of the bridge. Traffic will be detoured on southbound Iowa 58 to Waterloo Road and then back onto northbound 58 to 218. The work is expected to last until approximately 3:00 p.m.
