The 6th grade class at St. Paul’s Lutheran School is on their last day of their annual Washington DC trip as part of their final year at the school. The trip, which was made possible by year-round fundraising and donations, will cap off the students’ education on the capitol by visiting all the sites and monuments they’ve been studying throughout the year.
But according to Dr. Kris Meyer, St. Paul’s principal, there’s another reason this trip is special for the students:
The students are scheduled to return home late Tuesday night.
