One person was injured in a stabbing Thursday morning in Waterloo, according to KCRG. Police were called to the 300 block of Thompson Avenue around 3:30 a.m. They say a group of people had gathered there and at some point a person was stabbed, although it is unclear what led to the stabbing. The victim suffered injuries that were described as minor. One person was arrested, however, it was for outstanding warrants and unrelated to the stabbing.
