A standoff on West Mullan Avenue in Waterloo ended peacefully early Monday morning, according to KWWL. Police were initially called to the home around 10:30 Sunday night on a weapons violation. When they arrived they learned that a man and a woman were in a dispute and the man was refusing to come out of the home. Witnesses told police the man had fired a shot into the air during the argument. Around 12:40 Monday morning the man came out of the house and was arrested. A child was also in the home at the time. No injuries have been reported. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
