Standoff with Sumner Man

A Sumner man was arrested after a standoff with law enforcement Tuesday night, according to KWWL. Police were called to the scene after receiving a report that 49 year old Douglas Daniels was intoxicated and possibly carrying a firearm near Northeast Security Bank. Daniels’ wife told police that he was at the Sumner Gazette, where he works, after he threatened to shoot her or any law enforcement who entered the building.
