The City of Waverly has announced that there will be work done on the stoplights at Cedar River Parkway and 4th Street SW Friday. They are working to correct issues with the turn arrows. While the work is ongoing the signals will be operating in “flash mode”, which they say will cause traffic delays. They remind drivers that a flashing red signal should be treated as a stop sign with vehicles coming to a complete stop before proceeding into the intersection.
