A group of models have successfully sued the company that owns the embattled downtown Waterloo strip club, Flirt’s, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The group alleged that Charmed LLC used their photos in social media posts and internet content without approval. Jurors agreed with the models’ claims of False Association, False Advertising, Unjust Enrichment, Negligence, and Appropriation of Right of Privacy. The models never worked for Flirt’s and are not exotic dancers. Charmed admitted they took the photos off of Facebook and Instagram. The company was forced to pay out a total of $134,000.
