Waterloo Schools students in grades six and up will be allowed to ride MET Transit buses for free this summer and through the next school year, according to KWWL. Students just need to show their Waterloo Schools ID when boarding any MET Transit bus in order to ride for free. The program is meant to help them get to summer activities, a part time job, or to school next year. If students do not have their ID, the fare will be 75 cents per ride.
