The death of a 2020 Waterloo Columbus graduate and Iowa State student has been determined to have not been due to a crime. The body of 20 year old Emma Timmer was found on the balcony of an off campus apartment in Ames. The autopsy says her injuries are consistent with a fall from the balcony above where she was found. She lived in the above apartment. Police say they did not find any evidence of a crime.
