A Sumner man has been arrested after driving erratically near Hawkeye over the weekend. Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop on a white GMC Sierra on T Avenue near 160th St. shortly before 8:30 Saturday morning. After an investigation the driver, 34 year old Cole McCrea was charged with Driving While Barred, Driving While License Suspended, and Possession of Methamphetamine- first offense. McCrea was transported to the Fayette County Jail.
