A Sumner man has been charged with OWI. A Fayette County deputy says they witnessed a vehicle exiting a ditch near the intersection of 90th Street and K Avenue at around 4:45pm last Wednesday. The deputy then conducted a traffic stop at which point they determined 61 year old David Hassman was operating under the influence. Hassman was taken to the Fayette County Jail.
