The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was called to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of W Avenue and 100th Street around 10:45 a.m. on Monday, May 18.
Deputies says Kason Thomas Judisch, 18, was driving a 2008 Chevy Impala when he collided with a 2000 Ford F350 driven by Thomas William Simmons, 53.
Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene.
Judisch was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
