The Sumner Police Department and Bremer County Sheriff’s Office are looking to the public to help identify a subject that was walking out into traffic and two others who acted as lookouts. The Sumner Police Department posted surveillance video footage of at least part of the incident to their Facebook page. In the video, a person that appears to be in a black body suit hides behind a plant before moving into the roadway, perhaps to scare drivers. What appears to be a male and a female can be seen hiding in the doorway of a downtown building and alerting the first person as to when a vehicle was approaching. Based on the time stamp on the video this incident took place at 3:45 in the morning. If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office or Sumner City Hall.
