The new COVID-19 numbers were released for the state Sunday. There were 288 new cases bring the total to 11,959. 13 new deaths were also reported. 265 people have died in the state from the virus. 74,174 people have been tested to this point. The local numbers have also been updated. Bremer County officially has had 58 cases, Butler County has seen 12 cases, Chickasaw has 6, Fayette has 24, Buchanan has 23, while Floyd County has 4 cases and its first death. Black Hawk County’s numbers are more up to date. They are reporting 1,754 cases and 26 deaths.
