Waterloo Police are investigating two shootings that happened Sunday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. First, police were called to the 400 block of Oneida Street at around 3:00 a.m. When they arrived on scene they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Allen Hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life-threatening. Then, shortly before 8am police were called to 630 Gable Street after neighbors reported hearing gunfire. A home was found to have been hit by bullets and spent shell casings were found in the area. No arrests have been made to this point and it is unclear if the shootings are related.
