A police chase in Waterloo early Saturday morning resulted in the suspect getting away, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office and Waterloo Police were both involved in the chase after a black 2000 Toyota Sienna with no headlights was located near the intersection of West Sixth and South Streets just before 3:00 a.m. A 20 minute chase ensued before law enforcement lost sight of the vehicle. Stop sticks were utilized but were unsuccessful. At one point a police vehicle swerved to miss another vehicle and did damage to his vehicle and to a property. The driver remains at large at this time.
