An SUV crashed into a house in Waterloo yesterday leading to the evacuation of several other homes in the area, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The resident of the home at 2310 Ansborough Avenue was pulling into her driveway when she lost control of the vehicle and veered to miss the garage, instead crashing through the living room and coming to rest on the natural gas meter and near the electrical meter. Houses in the area were evacuated as a precaution. The woman was not seriously injured. Her husband who was home, but in the back of the house was also not injured.
