The family of Clarksville pastor and former mayor Val Swinton believes he is turning the corner for the better. Swinton is on a ventilator battling COVID-19. Sunday the family reported that his oxygen from the ventilator is down to 40% when it had been as high as 100% and the pressure was down to 8 when it had been at 12. His latest x-ray showed improved aeration. His blood pressure and heart rate are better and he doesn’t have a fever. He even spent more time with his eyes open and the nurses believe he can hear what’s going on around him. The family says they are very encouraged by all of this.
