A Tama man has been arrested after a traffic stop in Waterloo turned up a loaded gun, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police pulled over 26 year old Luis Caballero around 3:10 Saturday morning. They smelled alcohol which led to the discovery of a loaded handgun with a round in the chamber. Caballero is prohibited from possessing firearms because of a previous Domestic Assault conviction. He has been charged with Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm, Third Offense Operating While Intoxicated, Driving While Revoked, Interference, and Carrying Weapons.
