On Sunday July 28th at 6:05 a.m. the Cedar Falls Police were called to W 2nd St and Washington ST. for a UNI TC Panther Statute lying on the sidewalk damaged. Officers secured the statute for evidence, and the case was turned over to the Cedar Falls Investigative Unit. On Wednesday the Cedar Falls Police arrested 34 year old Joel David Johnson for damaging the TC Panther Statue. Johnson was charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief and Aggravated Misdemeanor.
