A Parkersburg teen has been arrested after stolen guns were found their possession, according to KWWL. The teen’s family found a gun and immediately alerted authorities. Law enforcement then found more guns in the teen’s possession, all of which were stolen. Police believe they are connected to a number of local car burglaries. The Police and the Aplington Parkersburg School District made special statements indicating that there were no threats to the school or any of the students within the school district in an attempt to dispel rumors that had begun to make the rounds.
