A 17 year old has been killed in a UTV accident near Parkersburg. The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office says the driver lost control of the UTV and the passenger, Connor Allen, was pinned under the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was attempting to avoid a fence when he lost control of the vehicle. The driver was taken to MercyOne in Waterloo for treatment of injuries not thought to be life threatening. The accident remains under investigation.
