A teenager involved in a shooting over the weekend in Waterloo will be charged as an adult. 17 year old Datarius Spates was arrested after police responded to a shooting around 10:00 on Saturday night. A 63 year old man had been injured in the shooting. Spates was charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, intimidation with a deadly weapon, carrying weapons, and reckless use of firearms.
