A teenager was shot at an after prom party near Waterloo early Sunday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office was called to 825 E. Washburn Road just before 2:00 a.m. Witnesses reported that someone started firing from a car at party guests in the yard. People in the yard reportedly fired back. One boy was shot in the leg and taken to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. He is expected to survive his injuries. No arrests have been reported to this point.
