An Oklahoma-based investment company has purchased the Terex crane manufacturing operations in Waverly.
Terex announced plans to close the plant in Waverly last summer and immediately laid off 100 production workers.
CMI Investments purchased the four buildings and the nearly 49-acre site just before the end of the year.
Economic development leaders in Waverly expect the new company to announce detailed plans for the former Terex plant on Monday.
Those details may include resuming some kind of manufacturing operation in Waverly.
