Waterloo Fire Rescue will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday to discuss the possibility of becoming an accredited fire service organization. The meeting will include a brief overview of the department, an explanation of the accreditation process, and an opportunity for attendees to complete a community questionnaire and provide feedback. Community members are encouraged to ask questions and share their perspectives on fire and emergency services in Waterloo. The questionnaire will be available on the City of Waterloo website and posted on the Waterloo Fire Rescue social media pages prior to the meeting and for several weeks after the meeting for those who cannot make it to participate.
