Towns Pass Bonds for School Improvements

Several communities held special elections Tuesday to address school issues. Here are some local results. In Denver the bond referendum on a $7 million project for a middle and high school addition to the Cyclone Center passed with 1009 yes votes compared to just 176 no votes. In the Dike New Hartford school district citizens voted on a bond issue that would renovate Dike New Hartford High School which would include a new gym and other building expansions. The results there are unofficial but it appears it will pass with 70% support.
