The Construction on Highway 218 between Janesville and Waverly is moving into the next phase. Thursday southbound traffic will move onto the southbound lanes. Friday afternoon northbound traffic will shift to a head to head pattern in those same lanes. Those that live south of 260th St should continue on the existing northbound lanes to 260th St, then use the short gravel access road, then go west around the roundabout to get to 218 southbound. To go northbound, they should take the Janesville exit and loop through the roundabouts. All east side sideroads will remain accessible. 250th St will not have direct access from 218. Residents should use 240th St to Fairview Ave. to 250th St. 250th St will have access to 218 northbound only. Those traveling through the constuction are asked to slow down, stay alert, and be patient.
