A Hawkeye woman has had her trial set for allegedly trying to kill her husband with two large swords, according to KIMT. 59 year old Kim Cannon has pleaded not guilty to Attempted Murder. According to court documents Cannon got into an argument with her husband on January 18th. She allegedly struck her husband in the back of the head with a sword until he fell to the ground and then she struck him several times in the face while he was on the floor. Cannon was found sitting on the floor of the kitchen with two bloody swords beside her. Her trial will begin on May 10th in Fayette County.
