A Tripoli man has been accused of possessing child pornography, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 23 year old Austin Kingsbury was charged with Receipt, Distribution, and Possession of Child Pornography last Thursday. He allegedly possessed porn involving an individual under the age of 12 on a Samsung phone between 2022 and 2023. The investigation into Kingbury began in Alaska where he was stationed while in the Army. Authorities there say Kingsbury posted child porn to Snapchat and Kik. Kingsbury was already in the Bremer County Jail awaiting trial for allegedly having sex with a 15 year old in May of last year.
