A Tripoli woman will go to trial in March in the death of a elderly Sumner woman, according to KIMT. 56 year old Debra Kleppe has been charged with non-support of an adult dependent. She held medical power of attorney for 77 year old Sylvia Schwerin. Schwerin received scald burns to roughly 20% of her body on May 10th. She did not receive medical attention for the burns until she was taken to Community Memorial Hospital on May 29th. The burns were deemed a contributing factor in Schwerin’s death. Kleppe will go to trial on March 12th.
