A crash in Waterloo has sent one person to the hospital in critical condition, according to KWWL. Waterloo Police were called to the area near West 18th and Commercial Street for a traffic hazard. While there a truck stopped behind a patrol vehicle. A motorcycle then collided with the stopped truck. The lone occupant of the motorcycle was thrown from the vehicle and was unconscious and bleeding. First aid was administered before the motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital. They remain in critical condition at this time. The occupants of the truck were unharmed. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
