Tuition Increase

Hawkeye Community College has announced a 4% increase to tuition, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. On Tuesday the board of trustees approved a $9 increase per credit hour for in-state students. That bumps the total price per credit hour to $227. Out-of-state students will pay $1 more at $228. There is also an activity fee of $7, leaving the final price at $234 for in-state students and $235 for out-of-state students. The increase puts Hawkeye right in the middle of the other 14 Iowa community colleges’ tuition prices.
