The Waverly Police Department is making the public aware of the fact that they have in their possession many items of unclaimed personal property. In order to reclaim property citizens must file a claim within 90 days or the citizens will lose interest in the property. The items currently in the police department’s possession include purses, handbags, drawstring bags, wallets, keys, key fobs, credit cards, cell phones, a camera, eye wear, money, bicycles, shoes, knives, and gloves. If you believe some of that property belongs to you, you are asked to contact the Waverly Police Department. You must be able to prove that the items belong to you before they will be returned.
