The University of Northern Iowa has announced that it will keep its tuition flat again this year, according to KWWL. The move was approved by the Board of Regents in a public meeting Thursday. Concerns about the affordability of higher education as well as the economic downturn and unemployment caused by a global pandemic led to the decision. UNI also kept tuition rates flat last year. In addition to tuition rates, the university announced that it’ll return to in-person courses in the Fall and announced other flexible learning opportunities.
