The University of Northern Iowa has announced that students who fail to adhere to safety guidelines regarding mask wearing and social distancing will be disciplined, potentially with suspension, according to KWWL. Iowa State made a similar announcement last week. The University of Iowa has also followed suit. The guidelines pertain to both on campus and off campus activities. Several videos from all three campuses have shown extensive crowds and little mask usage at bars and house parties since classes have restarted.
