The UNI student who was denied a $10,000 prize after appeared to win a halftime shooting contest will now be given the full prize. UNI Athletics posted on their Twitter feed that along with the sponsor of the contest, CB Seeds, they will pay Dalton Hinsch $10,000 and send him to St Louis to watch the Panthers in Arch Madness. Hinsch was tasked with making a layup, a free throw, a three pointer, and a half court shot in what he and the crowd believed was 30 seconds. He did that, however, it was learned later that the rules said he must hit all shots under 24 seconds. This was met by massive backlash online forcing the university and CB Seeds to initially award Hinsch with $2,000. That did not quiet the criticism, leading to the full reward now being handed to Hinsch.
