Traffic on the University Avenue reconstruction project is expected to become head-to-head Tuesday. Traffic will remain open through the corridor. But the contractor expects to begin reconstructing the eastbound lanes Tuesday by shifting all two-way traffic into the westbound lanes. The lane closures will be in place for approximately three or four months, depending on the weather. University will remain open during the project with access to frontage roads. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area.
