The Sumner Chief of Police, Chad Koch, has provided an update on their investigation into a possible attempted child abduction. Chief Koch went live on Facebook last night to report that the vehicle and the driver involved have been positively identified. He said due to the ongoing investigation he could not reveal any more information at this time. On Tuesday morning a 14 year old girl was in the parking lot of the library when a blue-green extended cab pickup truck pulled up along side her. The driver attempted to entice the teen to get into his vehicle, she instead went inside the library. Chief Koch says he will share more about the case when he can.
