Valley Lutheran School in Cedar Falls is looking to build a new building after seeing increased enrollment thanks to the passing of the Educational Savings Accounts. That program gave money to families to help pay for tuition. The school has now begun work on a Ministry Readiness Study to help them develop their vision for the new building and secure the necessary funding for the project. They held their first community meeting on Saturday. They will hold two more meetings this week, tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Both will be held at the current school. Valley Lutheran, Waterloo Christian, Cedar Falls, and Waterloo East and West are now all in different stages of building new schools.
