The Black Hawk County Health Department has announced that there are multiple cases of the variant in the county. They have contacted, not only those with the variant but also those that have been in contact with those people. The Black Hawk County Health Department is taking this opportunity to encourage everyone who is eligible to get the vaccine when it is available and to continue mitigation efforts including wearing a mask, social distancing, and washing hands.
