A Des Moines man has been charged with Vehicular Homicide in connection with a crash south of Tripoli last August. Lal Puia Sai Lo was driving a Toyota Tacoma on August 23rd when he failed to stop at a stop sign on 190th Street. As he entered the intersection he was struck by a Ford F150 driven by Trivona Drewis, of Waverly. One of Lo’s passengers, 41 year old Lungawia Chalthleng, of Urbandale, was partially ejected from the vehicle with his torso remaining in the truck and his legs going through the rear driver’s side window. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Lo and two other passengers in his vehicle were also hospitalized as were Drewis and her passenger, Marvin Drewis.
