Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced Friday that schools would not meet again this academic year. The announcement confirmed what many thought was likely.
Waverly-Shell Rock Director of Educational Services Bridgette Wagoner talked about its emotional impact.
While the building is closed students are still learning and teacher and parents are still teaching.
Wagoner shared where parents can get resources.
Wagoner also said the district is working on a commencement plan that can happen as early as possible.
